Sarah has 12 years’ experience as an educator working closely with children and their families. She works with children with learning difficulties, behavioural issues, family issues, and emotional trauma. Sarah works with families, assisting with parent/child relationships and children’s adjustments in separated or mixed families.
Sarah conducts assessments and provides reports and recommendations for individual learning plans for children struggling with learning and behavioural difficulties. She takes care in listening to and understanding children’s needs and encourages them to express themselves freely.
Sarah is also passionate about the mental health of young adults as they navigate the pressures of career achievement, relationships, and social media.
Sarah has a warm and open nature, creating a safe and comfortable space where clients feel at ease to work through their concerns. Sarah’s practice is client centred, treating all with care and respect. She has strong skills in building a rapport and trust, ensuring clients can safely meet their goals. Sarah offers counselling with a strength based, biopsychosocial approach utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and Talk therapy.
Sarah provides face to face counselling as well as Telehealth and Zoom appointments.
