Poor body image and body dissatisfaction are two of the most important risk factors for the development of an eating disorders.
For the past decade Body Image has been listed as one of the top three concerns for young Australians.
The number of people in Australia with an eating disorder at any given time is estimated at approximately 4% of the population.

About our Centre
Cottesloe Counselling Centre provides assessment and therapeutic treatment for adults and adolescents and their families with body image and eating disorder concerns.
The Centre uses evidence-based interventions and recommended therapeutic methods to support individuals and assist families to be mindful of the early warning signs in their child or adolescent.
