Daniel has worked in mental health for the past 20 years and is trained in CBT. He has extensive competency-based training specifically in Reality Therapy, Choice Theory and Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences framework. As a Counsellor, Daniel uses a client-centred approach to create a space where you are accepted as you are and can work towards understanding and overcoming you current life challenges.

During his work with not-for-profit organisations in Europe, West Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East, Daniel accumulated extensive experience supporting counselling staff to overcome addiction, anxiety and depression due to vicarious trauma, sexual and physical assault . He gained a deep understanding of an individuals’ struggle to move beyond these experiences and this informs and strengthens his ability to work with a wide range of clients today.
Daniel has conducted bullying, self-esteem and vocational workshops for adolescents in Western Australian high schools. He has also run seminars on Choice Theory, and Strengthening personal and professional relationships and communication skills.
Daniel is also available for Telehealth and Zoom counselling in English, Portuguese and French.
