Sarah is a registered psychologist with over 16 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Sarah is a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally inclusive therapist. She is passionate about supporting individuals create the life they want and feel proud of who they are. Sarah has a warm and practical approach prioritising psychological safety while facilitating desired change.
Sarah’s work is client-centred and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, tailored to each client’s needs. Sarah is dedicated to supporting young people build their sense of self and advocate for their needs. Sarah works with children experiencing behavioural, emotional, and developmental difficulties, and provides systemic support by collaborating with parents, schools, and families. Sarah supports parents to understand their children, strengthen parent–child relationships, and to co-parent positively and appropriately within separated family contexts, prioritising children’s adjustment and wellbeing.
Sarah is dedicated to assisting adults of all ages, whether it’s to provide support through life transitions and difficulties, manage stress, work or study pressures or to delve deeper into changing maladaptive cognitive habits, coping strategies, unprocessed trauma, or relationship dynamics. Sarah has expertise in coaching individuals through relationship, sexual and parenting difficulties.
Therapy can be challenging and equally rewarding. Sarah’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, encouraging clients to feel empowered, and comfortable throughout the process. Sarah tailors her approach and pace of therapy to each individual’s needs and is committed to helping clients make practical and meaningful changes toward the life they want.
Sarah conducts assessments for risk, ADHD, intelligence, and psychoeducation, providing reports, recommendations and safety and school plans.
